The perfect one-bowl banana bread recipe
Ingredients
- 3-4 bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 cup sugar white or brown
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 11/2 cup ap flour
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees and butter one 8×4 loaf pan.
- Mix butter into pre-mashed bananas in a large bowl. Add sugar, egg, and vanilla and mix.
- Sprinkle in salt and baking powder over wet ingredients and mix in.
- Gradually add in flour and mix in. Don't overmix.
- Pour into prepared pan, bake for one hour, and cool on rack. Slice to serve.
