The perfect one-bowl banana bread recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 3-4 bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup sugar white or brown
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 11/2 cup ap flour

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees and butter one 8×4 loaf pan.
  • Mix butter into pre-mashed bananas in a large bowl. Add sugar, egg, and vanilla and mix.
  • Sprinkle in salt and baking powder over wet ingredients and mix in.
  • Gradually add in flour and mix in. Don't overmix.
  • Pour into prepared pan, bake for one hour, and cool on rack. Slice to serve.
